Enlabs has named Jelena Nisa as its new top financial executive.
Nisa has been with Enlabs since 2016, serving as the head of group accounting, overseeing the company’s accounting and reporting functions.
Before joining Enlabs, Nisa served as the chief financial officer of textile company MDT-tex.com from May 2011 to August 2014, and also worked for six years at accounting and consulting firm Leinonen Group.
“This new role is a natural step in Jelena’s career; she possesses strong financial abilities, strong analytical and organizational skills and an exceptional eye for detail,” said Enlabs CEO George Ustinov.
“I extend a warm welcome to Jelena on the senior management team and anticipate achieving new successes.”
The new appointment comes after Enlabs finished its acquisition of Global Gaming last week, which will see the latter removed from Nasdaq First North Growth Market.
Enlabs initially acquired a controlling interest in Global in August, having become its largest shareholder in June. This triggered a requirement for Enlabs to make a bid for the remaining shares of Global Gaming.
Enlabs now owns 95%.
A worldwide investment of 8% and the selection of arbitrator Anders Norman are part of a strategy to obtain the remaining 4.2% of stock.
