Century Entertainment Shifts Strategy in Cambodia’s Dara Sakar Casino Scene

Century Entertainment, a publicly traded company based in Hong Kong, is altering its strategy in Cambodia. Initially, they had a contract with their chief executive to oversee high-roller gaming tables in Dara Sakar. Currently, they are collaborating directly with a casino proprietor in Dara Sakar, going straight to the heart of the action.

This agreement entails Century Entertainment’s subsidiary, Wisdom Venture Holdings, assuming control of all seven VIP tables at the casino for the subsequent three years. As compensation, they will provide the casino owner, Long Bay Entertainment, with a monthly payment of $35,000. Consider it a rental arrangement, where Century Entertainment bears all the responsibility and potential gains from the VIP tables, handling all expenses and retaining all earnings.

This Dara Sakar casino is developing into a notable venue, featuring approximately 40 standard gaming tables, 55 VIP tables, and 80 slot machines. They have also addressed amenities, boasting a dining establishment serving Chinese cuisine, a spa, and even a nightclub.

Century Amusement intended to relocate its gaming equipment from Sihanoukville to a fresh gambling establishment in Dara Sakor in February, but the debut has been postponed until March because of a surge in coronavirus infections.
