The Choctaw Nation is commencing construction on a massive travel center that promises to be a significant boon for the Louisville area! This impressive facility will boast over 150 gaming machines, a dedicated sports wagering zone for game viewing, and a wide array of dining options. The project is projected to generate approximately 100 employment opportunities and will operate around the clock. Chief Ben is spearheading a competition to select a name for this new establishment! This endeavor holds great significance for the Choctaw people and is anticipated to stimulate substantial economic development in the region.
Prior to the location’s opening in the summer of 2024, it will have a new name, replacing the Louisville Travel Plaza.
