MGM Resorts International’s online gaming platform, BetMGM, has received the highest recognition for responsible gaming practices from the Responsible Gambling Council.
This esteemed accreditation signifies that BetMGM’s responsible gaming program underwent a thorough evaluation by the RGC, a prominent authority in the field. The assessment was extensive, encompassing aspects such as employee training protocols and player protection measures.
BetMGM presented its operations across the United States, Ontario, and its Borgata Online platform for this process. The RGC also offered suggestions to enhance BetMGM’s dedication to responsible gaming further.
“This achievement reflects our steadfast commitment to fostering responsible gaming and prioritizing the welfare of our patrons,” stated Adam Greenblatt, Chief Executive Officer of BetMGM.
This commitment is further demonstrated through BetMGM’s enduring collaboration with GameSense, an organization renowned for encouraging open and supportive dialogues about responsible gambling. BetMGM has incorporated GameSense resources into its platforms and prominently features GameSense signage at MGM Resorts establishments.
Shirley White, the director of the Responsible Gaming Council (RGC), commended BetMGM for achieving certification from the RG Check initiative across its entire North American platform suite.
White stressed that this accomplishment truly underscores BetMGM’s commitment to fostering responsible gaming practices and prioritizing user safety. She lauded BetMGM for exceeding expectations in their dedication to responsible gaming and for their diligent efforts in safeguarding the well-being of their players.
This announcement follows BetMGM’s reaction earlier this year to a proposed US legislative measure that had the potential to completely prohibit all forms of gambling-related advertising.
