The incoming UK National Lottery operator, Allwyn, has recruited a seasoned Twitter leader to enhance its endeavors. Dara Nasr, Twitter’s UK Managing Director, will join Allwyn’s advisory panel for the initiative, collaborating with Chairman Sir Keith Mills.
Although Nasr’s background includes a period at Google, he is most recognized for his tenure at Twitter. As Managing Director, he has been vital in developing and guiding sales forces. Notably, he spearheaded the “New Normal Business” structure during the pandemic, adjusting to the evolving work environment. Moreover, Nasr has been heavily involved in shaping internal protocols to support the well-being of telecommuting employees.
Nasr views this as a logical progression, stating, “The manner in which businesses connect with consumers is evolving swiftly due to the growth of social media platforms. I’ve opted to collaborate with Allwyn and its parent company, Sazka Group, because they genuinely grasp the significance of digital within the lottery industry. I’m eager to commence.”
